What a great morning! I was able to spend some time teaching pickleball to Mayor Mike Hurley and had his team. As well, I was able to thank him and his team for building pickleball courts like the ones at Squint Lake and converting shared tennis courts by adding pickleball lines. City of Burnaby has spent a lot of money investing in our Pickleball community and has continued to provide nets throughout Burnaby outdoor locations.
They made the lesson very enjoyable to teach, their team even dressed up showing the lighter side of pickleball and that it is a very social recreational sport for all.
